Join me for a day long workshop on harvesting the honey crop. We can only credit the bees for producing such a wonderful food as honey- but we can credit the beekeeper with how it is handled such that it can be presented for sale in a manner that reflects its characteristics as a super food.  

Honey can be ruined unknowingly by the beekeeper, through overheating or by extracting the crop before it is fully ripe. There are a multitude of other ways this near perfect food can be mishandled.  I will go through these details on Sunday, and the focus is very much a practical session on extracting honey. 

I will also review your season so far and remind you of some essential next steps so that your bees are well prepared for winter.
